Parish Announcements:

THE St. Mary's Teen Club This weekend, January 21-22, and next weekend, January 28-29, the teens will be taking orders for freshly made "Subs" for Super Bowl, Sunday, February 5. The cost is $5.00 for an 8 inch sub made with Italian, roast beef, or turkey meats. They can be picked up that weekend, February 4-5, after all the Masses. What a deal!

The teens will also be selling tickets this weekend, January 21-22, and for the next weekend for the Second Annual Parish Spaghetti Dinner, Sunday, February 12, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in our Burgundy Room. The tickets are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 12 and under. If you came last year, you know how great the service and the food were. It was a great time!

These events are FUNdraisers for the two "road trips" being planned for later this year. Check them out on Facebook @St. Mary's Youth Connection for more information.

SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2012

THE PARISH LIFE AND CULTURE COMMITTEE is sponsoring MARDI GRAS!, Food and Fun Fete before Lent. Music will be provided by a local DJ.

Masks/costumes optional. Tickets will go on sale this weekend, January 21-22. Tickets are $15.00 each.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK: SUNDAY, JANUARY 29 TO FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3. The week begins at the 9:00am Mass Sunday, January 29, with a special liturgy followed by an Open House at the school from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. Another Open House is scheduled Wednesday, Februay 1, from 9:00am to 12 Noon. Applications for the 2012-2013 school year will be available. Tell your friends and neighbors about these Open House dates. Have them come and see how afforable an excellent Catholic education can be.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Are you interested in getting reacquainted with your Catholic roots, or in adult Confirmation? Do you know someone who is interested in learning about the Catholic faith or becoming Catholic? If you or someone you know is interested in participating in our RCIA program, please call the Rectory at 301-577-8844 to leave your name and phone number. The class is now held on Wednesdays from 7:15pm to 8:30pm in the Parish House.

CHOIR LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL MEMBERS Experience the joy of lifting your voice to the Lord with a full choir every Sunday at the 9:00am or 11:00am Mass! All adult parishioners are most welcome to join the Contemporary Choir, directed by Dr. Lila Pantazis at 9:00am, or the Schola Choir, directed by Mr. Constantine Efantis at 11:00am. Experience and/or knowledge of music are not at all required, just a love of singing praise to the Lord. Call the Rectory at 301-577-8844 to leave your name and phone number or speak with Dr. Pantazis or Mr. Efantis after Mass.

Bingo is played every Tuesday night in the Burgundy Room (under the church). Early Bird begins at 7:00pm and regular Bingo starts at 7:30 pm.
